History
of Pacific Biofuel
Ray
Newkirk discovered the benefits of biodiesel in 1999 and began using
the fuel in his diesel cars and trucks. Amazed by the results, he
quickly worked to educate and facilitate the use of biodiesel, and
other alternative fuels on the Central Coast of California. He was
encouraged by the new amendments and bills tightening vehicle emission
standards and quickly worked to expand the scope of his grassroots
operation.
In
2002, he met Brent Laucher, investor and biodiesel advocate, and
they incorporated the business in 2003. Pacific Biofuel, Inc. specializes
in the sale of ASTM-certified biodiesel B100, biodiesel blends and
organic diesel fuel additives.
Our
biodiesel clients include commercial fleets, maritime, agriculture,
generators, and additional diesel-powered industries. As the driving
force behind Santa Cruz County’s transition to biodiesel,
Pacific Biofuel, Inc. continues to build upon our effective sales
force, growing client base, and alternative fuel expertise.
